Developing Underground water strategies for Climate Resilience
active 2 weeks agoThis project idea is focused on development of strategies and action plans for the sustainable management and future use of underground water resources in the Adriatic-Ionian region, with the aim of enhancing resilience to climate change and water scarcity. The project seeks to protect this critical natural resource and ensure its long-term sustainability for ecosystems, people, and economic development by develop, implement and promote transnational climate change adaptation strategies, plans and test solutions.
The Public Institution Development Agency of Šibenik-Knin County (PI DA SKC) is a regional coordinator for coordinating and encouraging the regional development of the Šibenik-Knin County, with tremendous impact and more than 20 years of experience in the preparation and implementation/management of projects, especially Interreg, covering project topics regarding climate change, sea protection and aquaculture, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, employment and social inclusion, natural and cultural heritage, and sustainable tourism.
Under Specific Objective 2.1 (Enhancing resilience to climate change, natural and man-made disasters), we are looking for a project idea related to the sustainable management and future use of underground water resources in the Adriatic-Ionian region, with the aim of enhancing resilience to climate change and water scarcity.
We are open to join as a project partner and eager to collaborate with organizations that share our commitment to this topic.
