SkillMatch
active 1 week, 4 days agoSkillMatch aims to strengthen the alignment between vocational education and labor market demands through an innovative, cross-border collaboration model, with Technical School Mihajlo Pupin Bijeljina as a pilot institution. Recognizing the increasing skills mismatch in the ADRION region, the project will develop, test, and implement a harmonized framework that integrates employer needs into the curriculum and training pathways of vocational education institutions.
The project will foster strong partnerships between vocational schools, regional employers, chambers of commerce, and the City of Bijeljina to co-design practical, market-relevant learning programs. Activities will include labor market analysis, joint curriculum development, teacher training, and student placement programs, new programs etc. A digital “Skill Observatory” will be developed to continuously monitor and adapt to labor market trends.
By aligning educational output with market requirements, SkillMatch will enhance youth employability, reduce skills gaps, and contribute to sustainable regional development. The model will be designed for transferability to other schools and regions within the ADRION area, ensuring long-term impact beyond the project’s duration.
