The SMART-GRAMSH NATURE project contributes to a greener and more sustainable ADRION region by promoting sustainable tourism models and testing smart mobility solutions in the natural sites of Gramsh, Albania. The project focuses on three emblematic eco-destinations—Holta Canyon, Sotira Waterfall, and Dushku Lake—enhancing their accessibility and attractiveness through environmentally friendly infrastructure, electric transport options, and digital innovation (including AR/VR content and interactive guides).
By fostering multi-level governance, the project will engage local stakeholders, civil society, and tourism operators through participatory planning, capacity building, and experience exchange with ADRION and EU partners. The creation of a cross-border cooperation network for sustainable tourism management will ensure long-term impact, transferability, and alignment with European green objectives. The project directly addresses IPA ADRION’s Specific Objective 2.3 by combining policy learning, pilot actions, and community empowerment to build a resilient and low-impact tourism model.
